The Kendallville Municipal Airport offers safe, cost efficient, reliable travel options for Kendallville, Noble County and the region. We furnish a safe, effective atmoshpere for corporate and private travel options. We provide aviation options, generate economic events and community events for the public. • Chartered in November 1946, and has been in continuous operation since.
• For year ending 2015, 5,998 aircraft operations occurred at C62. That's 16.4 flights/day.

• 12,500 lb. single wheel weight rating.
• 2 full length grass operating areas.
• Full length asphalt parallel taxiway.
• 4 connecting taxiways.
• Concrete tie-down, aircraft fueling and parking apron.
• LED based PCL (Pilot Controlled Lighting) runway lights, taxiway lights and high-intensity strobe lighting.
• Airport rotating beacon
• PAPI (Precision Approach Path Indicator) light system.
• AWOS (Automatic Weather Observation Station. Provides up to the minute weater information including:

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal, Kendallville Municipal Airport.

Kendallville Municipal Airport Board of Aviation Commissioners hereby announces its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 2.13% for FAA funded contracts and agreements. The proposed goal pertains to fiscal years 2025-2027 (10/01/2024 – 9/30/2027). A teleconference was held on April 4th, 2025 from 1:00 - 1:30 PM EST for the purpose of consulting with stakeholders to obtain information relevant to the goal-setting process.

The proposed goal and its rational are available for inspection during normal business hours at the airport office for 30 days following the date of this notice. Comments may be submitted by mail to:
