Board of Zoning Appeals
The Board of Zoning Appeals:
- Hears and determines appeals from, and review any order, requirement, decision, or determinations made by an administrative official or commission (except the Plan Commission) charged with the enforcement of the Zoning Code.
- Authorizes exceptions the the Zoning District and Overlay District regulations only in the classes of uses or in particular situations as specified in the Zoning Code.
- Authorizes, on appeal in specific cases, variances from the terms of the Zoning Code.
- Interprets the Official Zoning Map.
- Performs other duties as permitted by Indiana Code.
This board consist of five members, two appointed by the Mayor, one appointed by Common Council, one appointed by the Plan Commission, and one appointed by Noble County.

Members meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers located at 234 South Main Street.
